Are you aware of how many sponges on the market contain plastic?

We have been using cellulose sponges in our company for many years and are delighted with their properties. Rather by chance, we noticed that our "eco sponges" in the kitchen were sewn with plastic threads. We then began a search for truly completely plastic-free sponges, which we gave up after 6 months and 25 samples with no results. There was always something in there somewhere, in the thread or in the label or even as stabilizers in the loofah. So it was obvious to offer a completely biodegradable sponge ourselves. The result is our Loofah Sponge Eco, which consists of half cellulose and half Loofah - and is 100% plastic-free.

The combination of cellulose and loofah makes the sponge a great addition to our travel soap for cleaning the body and/or dishes.
