Specialized detergents

Regular washing significantly increases the life expectancy of your functional clothing. But also insulated clothing made of down or hollow fiber, including blankets and sleeping bags, maintain their insulating performance longer. Your textiles will remain usable for many years and you will have to replace them much less often. We have developed our detergents specifically to meet the needs of the individual components of textiles, so that you can enjoy your favorite equipment for a long time. Here, we attach great importance to the highest possible efficiency of the products with maximum sustainability. Packaging and raw materials are selected according to these criteria.

Our laundry detergents are readily biodegradable, tested in accordance with OECD 301 F by an independent laboratory accredited to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.

Properties of Fibertec detergents

In addition to their excellent cleaning effect, our detergents are particularly gentle on the fibers of modern functional clothing and wash out without leaving any residue. Membranes regain their original vapor permeability, down and synthetic insulations retain their bulking power longer.

The biodegradability of our laundry detergents has been tested in accordance with OECD 301 F by an independent laboratory accredited under DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.

Each detergent is not only specially adapted to the material, but also to our waterproofing agents, in order to achieve the best possible protection in combination.
The right product for every application

Pro Wash is our all-round concentrate for synthetic textiles and cotton fabrics. Membranes or coatings of textiles are not attacked, but dissolve fats, salts and dirt - and not the tapes or lamination. The vapor permeability of breathable textiles is restored.

Down Wash is our contribution to the down-friendly care of your down jackets and sleeping bags. Mildly formulated, it does not attack the keratin structure of your down textiles as normal detergents do. Thus, the original bulking power and thus the thermal insulation is preserved longer.

If you want to do something good for your wool/merino wool in the long run, you should take a look at our Merino Wash. Wool should be washed every 2 weeks if used regularly. With our detergent, the protein structures of the fiber are not attacked.

If you rely on synthetic/hollow fibers for insulation, there is also a suitable product for this: Loft Wash. Common and aggressive detergents reduce the silicone coating of a hollow fiber until it no longer stands up and can even break. This loft loss means less thermal insulation and therefore insulation loss. Our Loft Wash cleans without attacking the fiber.

Wherever we can save resources, we do so. Sustainability is not a trend for us, but the main driver for the development of our products.

That is why we combine the following properties:

•     no microplastics

•     no harmful chemicals

•     surfactants made from coconut oil instead of palm oil

•     biodegradable according to OECD 301F

Packaging strategy

The packaging of our products is made entirely of recycled materials. The design and quality of our bottles are such that you can reuse them several times. Together with our refill bags you produce much less waste.

Further information about our products

There is still a persistent rumor that Gore-Tex® membranes should only be washed in an emergency. But the opposite is true: sweat and fats from the skin attack the bondings/laminates and reduce the permeability of a membrane. Regular washing is important for the function of textiles - that's why we developed our products.
