Waterproofing spray for jackets & rain jackets

Functional jackets are already impregnated when purchased. However, this protection does not last forever and after some time you should treat the clothing with impregnation. In addition to classic rainwear, you can also create a light rain protection for softshell and certain cotton fabrics. This way you will stay dry through everyday life and long hiking tours.

With the impregnations in this category, you not only care for your jackets, but also use environmentally friendly products.

Waterproofing for washing-in or spraying-on

We offer two product lines for impregnating jackets - either as spray-on or wash-in impregnation.

The latter is particularly easy to apply in the washing machine. In combination with our Pro Wash Eco detergent, you can wash and impregnate at the same time in a single step. This saves time and effort. These agents are ideally suited for garments without hydrophilic inner/net lining, so-called 2.5-layer garments.

If you are not sure about the structure of your textiles, you should rather use the spray-on impregnations.

Beyond the different application, you have the choice between Eco and Pro line:

Our PFC-free impregnations of the Eco line stand for maximum environmental protection and the best possible weather protection. 100% biodegradable, the polymer-based active ingredient optimizes the highly water-repellent properties of your textiles and equipment.

With our Pro line, we pursue the goal of offering the best possible weather protection - also for areas of use with particularly high demands. Outdoor adventurers and emergency personnel alike appreciate the high heat resistance and oil-, dirt- and water-repellent properties. The non-bioaccumulative active ingredient is free of PFOA and PFOS.

Why should you impregnate jackets and raincoats?

When the impregnation no longer works, it's down. Down means literally no longer on the clothing, because it is worn off by mechanical stress caused by carrying bags and backpacks.

The consequence is, on the one hand, that water can penetrate from the outside. In the case of membrane clothing, vapor permeability can also be impaired - the moisture expelled by your body can therefore not escape. As a result, it quickly becomes clammy and cold inside your jacket.

This is quite normal and can be easily remedied with the help of an appropriate waterproofing agent. Not only does this make your clothing feel more comfortable to wear, it also ensures that it lasts longer.

Since the abrasion described above ends up in the environment and nature, we have been concerned about sustainability and the ingredients used in our products for many years. With the environmentally friendly properties, our impregnation agent for jackets is one step ahead of commercially available agents.

Impregnation for all materials

Different materials have naturally different properties and therefore make different demands on the composition of the ingredients. Hardly anyone would think of impregnating his ski pants with shoe wax, but would probably rather reach for a textile waterproofing.

To choose the right impregnating agent, you should know which fabric you want to impregnate. Is it cotton or synthetic fibers, does your clothing have a membrane or is your shoe made of leather? We have the right solution for each material.
