Black Wax - Leather Care
Black Wax is a wax that imparts an intense black color to leather. This rich leather care product is a blend of various waxes with a high proportion of beeswax. It provides intensive, deep-penetrating care for the leather, keeping it soft and supple while giving it a very high level of water repellency.
Black Wax is breathable—this allows the leather to retain its breathability even after treatment. As a result, the wax is also suitable for shoes with GORE-TEX® and other membranes. When applied, the surface of suede becomes smooth and takes on the “greasy” appearance typical of hiking boots. The wax also conditions the scuff guards on hiking boots.
It contains no added per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS).
Easy to use: Apply the wax evenly to the cleaned leather using a brush or cloth, work it into the leather, let it soak in briefly, then polish with a cloth—done. It is recommended to wear gloves during application. Water repellency develops immediately after application.
Note: Since Black Wax does not harden but remains soft and supple, it may transfer color.
The 100-ml and 500-ml jars are made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic.
