Merino Wash – Specialised detergent for merino wool
Fibertec Merino Wash is a particularly gentle detergent for merino wool.
Special plant-based surfactants gently clean merino wool without stripping it of its natural oils. The wool therefore does not need to be re-oiled. Unlike standard wool detergents, Merino Wash contains no lanolin or other fatty acids. This ensures that merino wool retains its natural moisture-wicking properties and retains its shape. Also suitable for other woollen garments (virgin wool, alpaca, cashmere, and many more).
This mild merino detergent achieves excellent washing results even at low temperatures. The formula is vegan and contains no animal-derived ingredients, enzymes, dyes, silicone or microplastics. Plant-based cedar oil gives the detergent a pleasant and very subtle fragrance.

Raw materials used in the manufacture of this product are produced in processes that comply with the bluesign criteria. These criteria take into account, amongst other things, product responsibility, resource efficiency, environmental protection and responsibility towards employees and society. The aim is to reduce any potential negative impacts on people and the environment.
The bottle body is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic.

Environmental information:
Fibertec Merino Wash is readily biodegradable.
Its biodegradability was certified by a DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025-accredited testing laboratory using an OECD 301F test. Fibertec Merino Wash achieved a biodegradation rate of 66 % within the 10-day window and 75 % within 28 days. This means that Merino Wash is not only biodegradable, but has been proven to be readily biodegradable.

The bodies of the 100-ml and 250-ml bottles are made of 100% post-consumer recycled PET.

5-15% anionic and non-ionic surfactants; < 5% amphoteric surfactants and soap; preservation agents (PHENOXYETHANOL, SODIUM PYRITHIONE); fragrance (JUNIPERUS VIRGINIANA OIL).
